Welcome to Arbour Guest House.
The Sister B&B of St. Anne's. The Arbour, too, is a Victorian building that was erected in 1880 and today still retains many features of that period including High Ceilings and Original Cornices. Oban itself was greatly re-invigorated during the Victorian period and buildings like this were established here to reflect the prosperity of the period. Rest Assured that the Arbour has been brought up to date and includes the comfort of a modern home.
There are a variety of Rooms available to let from a Family Room with on-suite to Budget Single Rooms and we pride ourselves on offering quality accommodation at realistic Prices. We aim to offer more than the standard B&B in Oban experience and our amenities include a private garden, Irish themed Public House, Restaurant and Trendy Bar. As Guests you are be entitled to Reduced Price Meals at our Restaurant and a complimentary free drink in either O'Donnell's Pub or Paparazzi Bar.
As we are only 2 mins walk from the sea-front and five minutes walk from the Train and Bus Stations we are ideally placed. Facilities and attractions which include Atlantis Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool, The Corran Halls, Tennis Courts, McCaig's Tower, The Cathedral and local Cinema are all within easy walking distance and our helpful staff can assist with directions and any queries you may have.
For those who like the more cerebral or leisurely Holiday experience, the Town of Oban is both Steeped in history, as the County of Argyll and Bute was the Location of the Kingdom of Dalriata, the ancestral home of the Scotti Tribe which gives its name to Scotland as it is today, and offers activities as diverse as Castle Tours, Kayaking, Hill Walking and Bird Watching.
